Philippine economy grows 6.2% in Q3 2019

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine economy grew 6.2 percent year-on-year in the third quarter, the government reported Thursday.

The Gross Domestic Product growth during the July to September period was faster than the 6-percent expansion in the third quarter of last year and the average 5.5-percent growth in the first half.
