The ILO Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations notes that at its 288th Session (November 2003), the Governing Body of the ILO approved the report of the tripartite committee set up to examine the representation alleging non-observance by China of Convention No. 97: Migration for Employment (Revised), 1949, with respect to the Special Administrative Region (SAR) of Hong Kong, made under article 24 of the ILO Constitution by the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP).
