Simula noong October 2006, mahigit 1,000 nang Pilipino ang sumailalim sa pagsasanay ng Workers College ng party list group na Trade Union Congress of the Philippines para maging call center agents.
Layunin ng programang ito ng TUCP na tulungan ang mamamayang hindi makahanap ng trabaho sa ibayong-dagat pero nakatapos sa kolehiyo at magaling magsalita ng Ingles na pawang mga kuwalipikasyong hinahanap ng mga call center.
Kabilang sa mga napagtapos sa call center training ng TUCP ang mga gustong maging overseas worker, tindera, tricycle driver, natanggal sa pabrika at estudyante. Ayon pa kay TUCP spokesman Alex Aguilar, 70 porsiyento ng kanilang estudyante ang nakakahanap ng trabaho.–Butch Quejada, Philippine Star
