TUCP vs. asbestos

In the meeting of its Executive Board on 27 February 2008,
TUCP resolved to participate in the global asbestos-ban campaign, as well as to work for Philippine ratification of
ILO Convention No.162 (1986) concerning safety in the use of asbestos.

TUCP and ALU/BWI conducted a joint April 28, 2008 commemoration centering on asbestos ban and HIV/AIDS.

Invoke Article 33 of the ILO constitution
against the military junta in Myanmar
to carry out the 2021 ILO Commission of Inquiry recommendations
against serious violations of Forced Labour and Freedom of Association protocols.

 

Accept National Unity Government
(NUG) of Myanmar.
Reject Military!
