Worker’s inn opens June 12

The second worker’s inn would be open in time for Independence Day, said the Metro Manila Development Authority.

Chairman Bayani Fernando said the Gwapotel would be ready for occupants on Jose Abad Santos Avenue, Tondo.

“The formal opening of the second facility was reset from May 1 to June 12 because there are still some innovations,” he said during his weekly radio program.

“Just like the first inn on Bonifacio Drive, Port Area, Manila, the bath-and-bed facility is only P25,” said Fernando.–Rio N. Araja, Manila Standard
