2 hurt in Valenzuela plastics factory fire

MANILA, Philippines — Two persons were hurt after a five-hour fire razed a plastics factory in Valenzuela City early this morning.

Fire Officer 2 Victor Infante of the Central Fire Department of Valenzuela City said Eduardo Tabuso, a worker at Uniware Plastic Industries located along Alicia St., Fortune 4, Parada, Valenzuela City;  and Dexter Lamlem, a fire volunteer, both sustained second degree burns.

Reports said the fire broke out inside the factory at around 4:11 a.m. Firefighters managed to put the fire under control at 9:45 a.m.
