Seamen document processing made easy

Published by rudy Date posted on March 27, 2009

THE Maritime Industry Authority and Pilipinas Teleserv Inc. have streamlined the processing of the Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book.

Through SIRB Express Application System, seafarers no longer need to go to the Marina SIRB office for applications and renewals.

Processing is available through SEAS Online Application at www.sirb.com.ph or SEAS Hotline 737-7-737.

The memorandum of agreement for the SEAS was signed at the Manila Yacht Club last February. Present were Marina Administrator Elena Bautista, Col. Primo Rivera, Sonia Malaluan, Amelia Espiritu, Myma Calag and lawyer Virgilio Calag with Teleserv represented by directors Jun Yupitun, Raffy David and Jeffrey Villanueva.

SIRB Express Delivery is available for seamen who process their SIRB onsite and opt to receive their documents at home.
