The leafletters held posters and streamers, while others handed out 3,000 leaflets to office employees and the public, before three entrances of the huge Enterprise Center where Sun life holds office on the 12th and 15th and 10th floors. The first team at the isolated elevated entrance of the heaquarters were ejected within 20 minutes from start of leafletting. The leafletters at front entrance and at the strategic Ayala entrance could not be ejected as they were in full view of motorists and the public.

Leafletters, wearing yellow shirts bearing the words “Sun Life: Justice for Pacific Beach Hotel Workers!”, were accosted by headquarters security officers within minutes from start of leafletting. The leaflets at the Ayala location were grabbed by security officers, but negotiations, which sometimes turned heated, resulted in the return of leaflets and resumption of leafletting. Other teams of security officers continually asked the leafletters to leave.

Police stayed at a distance, and did not interfere, although a police mobile car periodically sounded its siren through the event.

The leafletters left the locations after one hour, and distributed leaflets to the public along the length of Ayala Avenue in Makati’s Central Business District on the way to their vehicles’ assembly point.
