Amadeus Philippines, an information technology solutions provider to the travel and tourism industry, said it will help train tourism students of six universities and colleges, In a statement, Amadeus said it signed agreements with De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, Far Eastern University, Lyceum of the Philippines University, San Sebastian College, University of the Philippines, and University of San Jose Recoletos that would pave the way for the company’s e-learning courses to be used in these schools.

“We expect our partnerships with some of the country’s leading schools to create a steady pool of globally certified travel professionals, trained in using the most widely deployed global distribution system in the world,” Albert Villadolid, Amadeus Philippines general manager, said.

“We are continuously investing on research and development that will allow all stakeholders in the tourism industry use of the most efficient technology available,” he added.
