An actual complaint received by TUCP:

Published by rudy Date posted on April 8, 2010

An employee of a call center specializing in travel services complains that the company has not released his back pay, including his last pay, 13th month pay and tax refund for 2009.

The employee resigned from the call center in November 2009, but, to date (April 2010),  the company has not released the back pay even after constant follow-ups.

The reasons cited: the back pay is being processed; the clearance form was lost (by HR);  the money will paid another time; the paperwork is with the site director, awaiting signature.  Every time, the employee gets no assurance when the back pay will be released.

The employee is only asking for what is due him.
