UE slates job fair

The University of the East will hold its 31st Job Fair, in cooperation with leading corporations in the country, on Jan. 20 and 21 at the UE Manila’s Main Lobby. A career talk and jobseeker’s interview will precede the fair on Jan. 18 and 19, respectively, with resource persons and facilitators from the participating firms.

Topics such as proper office decorum, corporate image and work attitudes and values, how to spend their time wisely while applying for a job and how to strengthen their entrepreneurship skills will be discussed in the career talk, including techniques for preparing a good resume, letter of application, and to do’s during a job interview. Ayala Land, Allied Bank, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Metrobank, Convergy’s, Accenture, PJ Lhuillier, select firms of the Lucio Tan Group of Companies, among others have indicated to participate in the UE’s Job Fair.
