DPWH launches call center hotline today

MANILA, Philippines – The public can expect faster action on complaints regarding infrastructure projects as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) launches its own call center hotline.

DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson said the launching of the hotline 165-02 would be one of the highlights of the agency’s 113th anniversary celebration today, which no less than President Aquino will inaugurate.

Singson said the call center will be manned by 10 customer representatives and receive complaints and queries from all over the country 24/7.

He assured that response time will be faster since the call center will be connected with various engineering offices in Metro Manila, while matters concerning provincial offices would be monitored and handled by the DPWH public information division complaints and action center (DPWH-PID-CAC). –Evelyn Macairan (The Philippine Star)
