Worker dies after falling from roof

MANILA, Philippines – A worker died of severe head and body injuries after falling off the roof of a factory yesterday in Valenzuela City.

Police identified the victim as Danilo Oliva, 49, of Package 7, Block 61, Lot 7, Bagong Silang, North Caloocan.

Oliva’s brother Dante told police that his brother was fixing a roof of the Century Iron Works Inc. in Barangay Canumay when the incident happened.

The police have not ruled out the possibility of foul play but is continuing with its investigation. –Jerry Botial The Philippine Star
