ANTIPOLO City: A construction worker died while 5 others were severely injured when a portion of a perimeter wall of a billboard along Marcos Highway in Masinag collapsed on them Wednesday. Police identified the fatality as Allan Platado, while his injured fellow construction workers were Anthony Ginucor, Dexter Algullo, Jonjon Cabaro, Jeric Pabor, and Crispin Bruhan. Antipolo Office of Civil Defense chief Joey Marco said they were brought to Antipolo Medical Hospital and Blessed Trinity Hospital for treatment.

Marco said they will investigate if the structure had the proper construction permits. He also noticed that the victims were not wearing proper construction gear when the rescue officials found them. FRANCIS EARL A. CUETO, Manila Times
