2 workers hurt in accident at Bonifacio City’s SM Aura mall

MANILA, Philippines — Two construction workers were injured on Tuesday afternoon after the gondola they were using to perform a finishing touch on SM Aura in Taguig City. SM Aura is SM group’s newest shopping complex.

In an official statement, SM Supermalls said two construction workers of SM Aura contractor Aluform were “injured and immediately brought to the hospital.”

“Aluform management is now attending to the victim’s needs,” the statement said.

Person So, SM regional operations manager and the official spokesperson, said in an interview that the gondola fell from the second floor while the contractors were doing some finishing touches on the civic center in Taguig.
