Inorganisa ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST) at National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) ang job fair na gaganapin ngayong Miyerkules, Hunyo 19 sa Cyberzone ng SM North Edsa sa Quezon City.
Sa panayam ng Radyo Patrol kay Nelia de Jesus, chief ng technical cooperation division ng NCDA, nasa 30 booth ang maaaring puntahan ng mga aplikante, hindi lamang upang maghanap ng trabaho, kundi upang dumaan sa skills training.
Ilan sa vacancies na iniaalok sa job fair ay may kaugnayan sa IT, call center, animation, encoding, web development and design, desktop publishing at iba pa.
Ayon naman kay Eric Tansingco, isa sa mga exhibitors, noong isang taon ay lumahok na din siya sa job fair kung saan niya nakilala si Charles Rodriguez na ipinanganak na walang mga braso at kamay.
Nag-apply anya sa kanyang kumpanya si Rodriguez sapagkat mahusay ito sa graphics gamit lamang ang mga paa.
Sa ngayon, isang taon nang nagtatrabaho sa kanya si Rodriguez bilang animator.
Sa mga nais mag-apply, kailangan lamang magdala ng mga kaukulang dokumento tulad ng resume, at civil service eligibility para sa mga nais magtrabaho sa gobyerno. Report from Zhander Cayabyab, Radyo Patrol, dzmm.com.ph
