“Patay ang dalawang tripulante matapos makalanghap ng hinihinalang sodium cyanide sa loob ng storage ng kanilang MV San Felipe fishing boat sa Taytay, Palawan.” Patay ang dalawang tripulante matapos makalanghap ng hinihinalang sodium cyanide sa loob ng storage ng kanilang MV San Felipe fishing boat sa Taytay, Palawan.

Base sa imbestigasyon, unang pumasok sa storage ang biktimang si Rafael Ador ngunit hindi kinaya ang nalanghap, dahilan ng pagtumba at agarang pagkasawi nito.

Sinubukan siyang isalba ng kasamahang si Japet Albina subalit nasawi rin.

Dinala naman sa Taytay Hospital at patuloy na ginagamot ang lima pang tripulanteng sina Wilson Gratones, Diosdado Leopoldo Jr., Danny Fernandez, Ferlon Limit at Cornelio Abelionar.

Hawak na ng Taytay Police ang kapitan ng lantsa at isasailalim sa imbestigasyon dahil sa posibleng pagdadala ng kemikal sa pangingisda.

Katwiran naman ng kapitan, posibleng may nakain lamang ang dalawang biktima na dahilan ng pagkamatay ng mga ito.
