MANILA, Philippines – A 23-year-old operator of a wire-drawing machine was found dead in an industrial plant in Valenzuela City Wednesday afternoon.

Orlando Gloria’s right arm was severed at the elbow and his head was crushed, pinned between the roller drum and metal cover of one of the machines at the Supersonic Manufacturing Corp. His body was found by his co-workers at past 1 p.m.

It took police officers nearly three hours to extract his body from the machine.
