Trike drivers’ group head slain in Valenzuela

MANILA, Philippines – The president of a tricycle driver’s group in Valenzuela City was shot dead Saturday morning.

Luis Gragasin, 60, president of the Fortune Extension Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association, was tending to his backyard piggery along Santiago street in Gen. T. de Leon when two men on a motorcycle arrived and shot him several times.

Gragasin died on the spot as his attackers escaped toward Marulas. –Rey Galupo (The Philippine Star)
