MANILA – The society magazine Town&Country has listed 50 of the most influential and inspiring families in Manila.

Leading the list is the Zobel de Ayala family, with a vintage photograph of businessmen brothers Jaime Augusto and Fernando with their mother, Beatriz, on the cover of Town&Country’s latest issue.

Other families who are part of the list also shared rarely seen family photos with the magazine.

“We are honored and extremely grateful to the families who have shared special moments in their lives with us,” said Town&Country editor Yvette Fernandez.

Town&Country magazine said the list was based not only on “an old name, fame or fortune,” explaining that the families should also be “inspiring, generous, enduring, creative or powerful, or if fortunate enough, have all these qualities in spades.”
