Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who may encounter problems at work may now call a hotline run by the Saudi Ministry of Labor, the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh said.

The labor call center is accessible through 92-000-1173, and provides information in Arabic and English, the Philippine Embassy said.

“The number of the call center was provided to the Philippine Embassy and the Philippine delegation that recently concluded the Second Joint Commission Meeting in implementation of the bilateral agreement on domestic workers,” it said in a news release posted on its website early Thursday.

Filipinos working in Saudi Arabia may call the number in case of any inquiries on the Saudi labor law, Nitaqat, labor dispute settlement and complaints against employers or recruitment offices, ita added.

Callers may access the service by pressing “2” for English and then the number for the service, which covers the following topics:

– Nitaqat program inquiry
– Technical support for Ministry of Labor e-Services
– Labor dispute settlement
– Wage protection system
– Complaints related to labor offices
– Female labor services
– Information on domestic labor (HSW) regulations
