DOLE approves P15 wage hike in Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Wednesday announced the approval of a P15-wage hike in Metro Manila, Radyo Inquirer 990AM said.

The report quoted DOLE spokesperson Nicon Fameronag who said the National Capital Region wage board has approved the wage increase for minimum wage earners.

This will raise the minimum wage to P481 for non-agricultural and P444 for agricultural workers in Metro Manila. KS
