Worker electrocuted

A 27-year-old construction worker died after he was electrocuted while working in a building in Quezon City Thursday, police said yesterday.

Reports reaching the Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit identified the victim as Jonathan Bercelo, stay-in worker at AAP Building Tower on Aurora Blvd., Barangay Mariana.

Chief Insp. Rodel Marcelo, QCPD CIDU chief, said that the incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. at AAP Building Tower.

Marcelo said the victim was fixing the electrical circuit with the assistance of co-worker Aljone Fernandez when he accidentally touched a live wire. (Francis T. Wakefield)
