71 minero nailigtas sa gumuhong minahan

ITOGON, Benguet — Laking pasasa­lamat ng 71 na minero ng Dalicno Miners Association dahil nasa maa­yos nang kalagayan ang mga ito nang maisalba mula sa pagkaka-trap ng mahigit walong oras sa miniminang bundok sa Dalicno ng bayang ito sa harap ng tuluy-tuloy na pag-ulan dito.

Humingi umano ng tulong sa Benguet Corporation ang pamilya ng mga na-trap na minero nang hindi umuwi ang mga ito matapos ang trabaho.

Ayon kay Atty. Froilan Roger Lawilao, Administrative Manager ng Benguet Corporation, kaagad na sumaklolo ang mga tauhan ng naturang kumpanya matapos gumuho ang lupa sa lugar na exit at entrance ng mga minero kaya binutasan na lamang ang boundary ng underground working area ng kumpanya at dito dumaan ang mga minero, kung saan, tatlo sa mga ito ang babae habang 68 ang lalaki.
