TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija — Dalawa ang nasawi makaraang makur­yente habang abalang nag-aayos ng grounding sa loob ng power plant sub-station sa Purok 6, Brgy. Bakal 2 sa bayang ito noong Biyernes ng hatinggabi.

Batay sa ulat ni P/Supt. Leo Novilla sa tanggapan ni Mayor Nerivi Santos-Martinez, nakilala ang mga biktima na sina Reggie Relamida Dote, 32, residente ng F. Pelias St., Taloto, Tagbilaran City, Bohol at Jayson Salvador Padua, 22, helper, residente ng Brgy. San Agustin, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija.

Sa imbestigasyon ni PO3 Marvin Verde dakong alas-12:30 ng hatinggabi ay abala sa paggawa ng grounding si Dote sa loob ng Gift Power Plant Corporation Sub-Station nang aksidenteng makuryente ang mga ito.

Tinangkang iligtas ni Padua si Dote subalit maging siya ay dumikit na at nakuryente rin at dahilan ng kapwa pagtatamo ng third degree burns.

Noong saklolohan ay isinugod pa si Padua sa Science City of Muñoz Health Center subalit hindi na umabot nang buhay.

Ang mga labi ng mga nasawi ay dinala sa Timario Funeral Parlor sa Brgy. Bacal 3 sa bayang ito.
