A 30-year-old overseas Filipino worker (OFW) fell to her tragic death while cleaning the windows in her apartment in Hong Kong Wednesday night.

According to local news site Oriental Daily, the Filipina accidentally fell on the canopy of the building’s second floor in Mong Kok area.

The Filipina, who was living on the seventh floor, was rushed to the Kwong Wah Hospital. The victim’s husband, a Palestinian national, accompanied paramedics to the hospital, but was later overcome with grief after resuscitation efforts failed and she was declared dead.

The incident followed a similar case of a 35-year-old Filipina helper, who died after falling from a 49th-floor unit in the city. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
