LIST: Anti-Endo, Anti-discrimination laws top legislative agenda of 17th Congress

At least 38 bills top the legislative agenda of the 17th Congress during its second regular session.

Majority Leader Rudy Fariñas showed to reporters a list of the bills, which both the House of Representatives and the Senate agreed to pass within the current session.

This as Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III and other lawmakers met in EDSA Shangri-La hotel on Wednesday and agreed on the following measures:

— Free Irrigation Services Act

— Agrarian and Agricultural Credit Condonation Act

— Enhanced Universal Healthcare Act

— Philippine Mental Health Act

— Prohibition of Conversion of Irrigated Lands

— National Land Use Act

— Occupational Safety and Health Standards Act

— Community Service in lieu of Imprisonment for the Penalty of Arresto Menor

— Tax Reform Act

— Revision of the 1987 Constitution

— Bangsamoro Basic Law

— Public Service Act Amendments

— Traffic and Congestion Crisis Act (emergency powers)

— National ID System

— Legislative Franchise for Operating Railways, Mindanao Railway Corporation/Authority, Central Luzon Railways Corp., extending the corporate life of the Philippine National Railways to another 25 years

— End of Endo/Contractualization Act

— Minimum Wage Law

— Free School Feeding/Pagkaing Pinoy para sa Batang Pinoy Act

— Estate Tax Reform Act

— Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Act

— Ease of Doing Business Act/Fast Business Permit Act

— One Town: One Doctor Act

— Corporation Code of the Philippines

— Social Security Act amendments

— Expand coverage of Local Absentee Voting Act

— Family Code of the Philippines amendment (default property regime, complete separation of property)

— Department of Housing and Urban Development Act

— Anti-Discrimination Act

— Government Procurement Reform Act amendments

— Allowable/Recoverable System Loss Act (electricity)

— Salary Standardization Law IV

— Unified Uniformed Personnel Benefits and Pension Reform Act
