POZORRUBIO, Pangasinan, Philippines – A woman allegedly beat her husband to death using a steel pipe while he was sleeping in Barangay Palacpalac in this town on Sunday.

Driver Ariel Neri, 38, was declared dead on arrival at the Pozorrubio Community Hospital.

His wife Vicky, 41, was arrested after their 17-year-old daughter reported the incident to the police. The suspect reportedly tried to cover up the crime by cleaning the house and telling police that the victim slipped and hit his head.

The suspect was reportedly fed up that her husband beat her up whenever he was drunk.
