(UPDATED) Patay ang isang tubero matupos malunod sa isang underground water tank sa isang commercial building sa Makati City.
Kinilala ang biktima na si Rolando Ferrer, na magkukumpuni lang sana ng sirang float valve.

Tubero na magkukumpuni lang sana ng floating valve ng isang water tank, patay matapos malunod sa loob mismo ng tanke sa Makati City;
Lumusong pa ang mga rescuer ng Makati sa underground water tank ng isang commercial building sa Brgy. Pio Del Pilar nitong Huwebes.
Pilit nilang iniaahon ang tuberong si Rolando Ferrer mula sa tangkeng aabot sa 15 talampakan ang lalim.
Kuwento ng kasamahang tubero ni Ferrer na si Richard Perez,
tinutulungan nila noon ang isa pang tubero para kumpunihin ang nasirang parte ng water tank.
Nakahawak si Ferrer sa lubid sa bukana ng tangke nang mabitawan niya ito at mahulog siya sa tubig.
Sinubukang i-drain ang tubig sa tangke para mapadali ang paghahanap ng mga rescuer.
Nang nasa limang talampakan na lang ang lalim ng tubig, nakita ng rescuer ang paa ni Ferrer kaya tinalian ito ng lubid para siya’y maiangat.
Pero di na naisalba ang biktima.
Mahigit isang oras ang itinagal bago narekober ang bangkay ng biktima.
Sabi ni Perez, hindi na hinintay ni Ferrer na matanggal ang tubig bago ayusin ang valve ng tangke.
Dahil naman sa insidente, posibleng hindi na magagamit ng gusali ang tangke para sa tubig nito.
