Dec 16, 2017 – The Philippine Federation of Labor (PFL-TUCP) conducted its national convention in Quezon City, reelecting its President Alejandro C. Villaviza. PFL amended its Constitution and By-laws to, among other things, strengthen its Women and Youth Committees, authorize acceptance of individual members to its The General Branch, build up its Education & Research and Strike Funds, and set up a Mutual Aid Fund. TUCP President Ruben D. Torres inducted the officers, with TUCP officers and staff witnessing.
