Isang mangingisda na inupahan na putulin ang mga punong sinira ng bagyo ang nasawi matapos siyang mabagsakan nito sa Pangasinan. Ang biktima, niyakap daw ang puno para ‘di bumagsak sa linya ng kuryente.
Sa ulat ni Joanne Ponsoy sa GMA News TV “Balita Pilipinas” nitong Biyernes, kinilala ang biktima na si Rolando Taboy, ng Barangay Baquioen, Sual, Pangasinan.
Ayon sa ina ng biktima, inupahan ang kaniyang anak para putulin ang mga puno ng gmelina na sinira ng nagdaang masamang panahon.
Dati na rin daw itong ginagawa ng biktima at marami na rin siyang naputol na puno bago nangyari ang trahedya.
Base sa nakuhang impormasyon ng pulisya sa mga saksi, niyakap umano ng biktima ang puno na kaniyang pinutol para iiwas na tumama sa linya ng kuryente.
“Yung puno nga may madadaganan na kuryente so pinipigilan niya actually ‘yung puno, but then accidentally nadaganan siya, sakto sa ulo ng biktima natin,” sabi Police Senior Inspector Arturo Melchor, hepe ng Saul Police.
Wala namang sinisisi ang pamilya ng biktima sa nangyari na itinuturing nilang sadyang aksidente.
Wala pang pahayag ang umupa sa biktima para magputol ng mga puno.–
