Four teenage girls, whose age ranges from 14 to 17 years old, were rescued by the authorities after it raided a prostitution den in Navotas City.

The operation was conducted at a videoke bar, which was registered as a restaurant, according to Maritime chief, Senior Superintendent Baltazar Rivera. The establishment was owned by Erwin and Rowena Duron.

According to a report by DZRH, the minors were supposedly paid P8,000 for “services” by their regular customers, while very important persons (VIPs) paid them P1,000.

The authorities said these teenagers will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The police also nabbed both Erwin and Rowena and will charge them for violating Republic Act 9208 or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.

The report added that Rivera will also recommend the closure of the establishment.
