2 salesmen electrocuted in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — Two salesmen died of electrocution in Barangay Centro, Sta. Ana, Cagayan on Sunday.

The fatalities were identified as Maveric Cabalba, 28, and Edgar Obina, 29. They were declared dead on arrival in a hospital, where their companion Valente Landingan, 29, remains confined.

Police said the the victims were opening a delivery truck when the vehicle hit a power line of the Cagayan Electric Cooperative.
