Pinatay umano ng kasintahan ang isang empleyado ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) sa Nasipit, Agusan del Norte.
Wala nang buhay nang matagpuan si Imee Tampan, 34, na palutang-lutang sa dagat sa Barangay Punta nitong Huwebes ng madaling araw.
Ayon sa ama ng biktima na si Felix, ilang araw ding nakikita ang kasintahan ng biktima sa labas ng kanilang bahay bago pa mangyari ang insidente. Hiniwalayan kasi ng biktima ang kasintahan pero hindi ito matanggap ng suspek.
Pinaniniwalaang hinampas ng bato sa ulo ang biktima bago pa ito pinalutang sa dagat. Ang caretaker na ng isang lodging house ang nakakita sa biktima noong Huwebes ng madaling araw.
Naaresto ang suspek at nakakulong sa Nasipit Police.
Sasampahan ng pamilya ng biktima ng kasong pagpatay ang kasintahang suspek.
Naulila ni Imee ang kaniyang dalawang maliliit pang mga anak.
