Worker falls to death

MANILA, Philippines — A construction worker died after falling from the fourth floor of a school building in Pandacan, Manila on Friday night.

Camilo Encenzo Jr., an employee of NME Constructions and resident of Dasmariñas, Cavite, died while being treated at the Manila Medical Center.

Police Officer 3 Marlon Dee of the Manila Police District homicide unit said Encenzo was sleeping on the fourth floor of the Bagong Diwa Elementary School along Linceo Street when he woke up and walked.

The victim’s partner told probers that Encenzo usually walked while asleep.

Police said they would conduct an investigation to ensure that there was no foul play.
