… getting the Convention ratified by the Philippines, and the national law and practice aligned with the Convention.

The Philippine government, employers and workers voted in favor of the Convention. This probably would make things easier for concerted efforts (1) for the ratification of the Convention; and (2) promulgating the enabling law and regulations.

In the meantime, NTUC Phl is working with its affiliates and local unions to adapt existing mechanisms, or to build new mechanisms, to incorporate measures for gender-based violence (GBV) information, prevention and for protection of victims at the enterprise.

NTUC Phl have had lots of discussions on GBV at the national, federation and local levels in 2017-2019, thus making enterprise-based interventions less difficult.
