TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija –– Policemen rescued four women, including two minors, from a bar that is allegedly being used as a prostitution front in Barangay Sampaloc here before dawn on Tuesday, police said.
Two suspects, identified as Marnitz Siobal, 26, of Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan, and Richibier Sibayan, a resident of this town, were arrested for alleged human trafficking, said Lt. Col. Alexie Desamito, town’s police chief.
Police said the victims were residents of Cabanatuan City and Sto. Domingo town.
Desamito said they carried out the operation after confirming that certain people, including the floor manager of Triple C-2 Bar, offer the girls to customers for a sexual favor.
The victims, according to Desamito, were made to believe that they would work in a restaurant in this town.
The suspects denied the allegations, but Desamito still recommended the closure of the establishment. Armand Galang
