Super rich: 52,135 Pinoys are dollar millionaires, 43 worth more than $500M each- Credit Suisse

There are 52,135 Filipinos who are worth at least $1 million, according to Credit Suisse’s annual global wealth report.

This makes Philippines No. 40 among countries with the most number of millionaires in the world.

This includes 43,853 with a net worth between $1 million and $5 million; 4,532 with a net worth between $5 million and $10 million; 3,154 with a net worth of $10 million to $50 million; 326 with a net worth of $50 million to $100 million; and 227 with a net worth of $100 million to $500 million.

Credit Suisse reported that 43 Filipinos were worth more than $500 million in 2019 which is relatively at par with its Southeast Asianpeers Indonesia
(46 individuals) and Singapore (44 individuals) but behind Thailand (64 individuals).

Credit Suisse did not name the individuals on the half a trillionaire list which was based on Forbes annual global list of billionaires.

9) Australia
10) Spain
