Twenty-four workers were killed, two workers were injured, in four* serious work incidents in the Philippines in January-April 2020, an NTUC Philippines compilation of media reports show. One incident in agriculture, another in a mill warehouse, one in a construction area, one medevac airplane incident. *Fifteen doctors died working in different hospitals fighting CoVid-19. Three crew, three medical personnel died in the medevac airplane incident in March. Only one nurse, no other medical personnel, has been in specific media reports dying on COVID-19 duty.
