MANILA, Philippines — A 41-year-old woman was arrested in Caloocan City on Monday for allegedly forcing her three children to perform sexual acts for paying customers online.

Her three children – a 13-year-old boy and two girls aged five and 14 – were rescued during an operation conducted by joint elements of the Philippine National Police and the National Bureau of Investigation, according to a joint press statement of the law enforcement agencies and the International Justice Mission.

Recovered from the scene were a mobile phone, desktop computer and webcam believed to have been used in the illegal activity, as well as cash and remittance receipts.

Officials said the children are currently receiving trauma-informed aftercare services.

The woman faces charges of violating laws penalizing human trafficking, cybercrime, child pornography and child abuse.
