3 die of electrocution

MANILA, Philippines — Three men were electrocuted in separate incidents in Pangasinan and Cagayan over the weekend.

Tricycle driver Leo Peren, 41, was fixing power cables on the roof of his friend’s house in Barangay Poblacion in this town when he accidentally touched a high-tension wire.

Peren was declared dead on arrival at the Jesus Nazarene Hospital.

Meanwhile, welder Perfecto Quimado, 54, was working in his shop in Barangay Salud, Bolinao when he accidentally touched a live wire.

Quimado was declared dead on arrival at the nearby Sto.Niño de Santiago Medical Clinic.

Meanwhile, in Cagayan, James Bunagan, 28, died after he touched a live wire as he was working at a construction site in Barangay Magalalag East, Enrile town on Saturday.

Bunagan was declared dead on arrival at the People’s Emergency Hospital.
