22 sailors get virus on BRP Quezon

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Navy on Wednesday said 22 crew members of the corvette BRP Quezon tested positive for COVID-19 while it was docked at Poro Point in San Fernando City, La Union province.

Navy spokesperson Lt. Cmdr. Maria Christina Roxas said the sailors who tested positive on Sept. 25 were now in isolation inside the naval base in Sangley Point, Cavite. Roxas said that the 25 other crewmen who tested negative were quarantined at Poro Point.
