18 Aug 2025 – NTUC Phl in its 7th Anniversary — Proud and confident in seven years of challenges, actions, and accomplishments

NTUC Phl and its affiliates celebrated its 7th Anniversary in-person and online, from Harrolds Evotel Quezon City, with the Theme:”7 years of Empowering workers through decent work: Unity for fairness and progress, Realizing living wage”

The participants heard Inspiration from the General Secretary Rodolfo Capoquian and the Report of President Milagros Ogalinda.

Messages were delivered by Federation of Free Workers (FFW) President Jose ‘Sanny’ Matula; Chair, Senate Committee Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality Senator Riza Hontiveros; Chair, House Committee on Labor and Employment Rep Jose Jolo Revilla; Asst Secretary Lennard Constantin Serrano (in-person) representing the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); and Chair, San Jose del Monte Council Committee on Labor and Employment Councilor Oliver Robes.

Affiliates reported their successes/challenges in the year to August 2025 and on-going actions in a consolidated Flash presentation.

NTUC Phl representatives in several RTWPBs (Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards) reported on what’s happening in consultations, hearings, towards wage orders. A lively Open forum on wages followed.

The participants broke into three groups and conducted “A Review of Progress on the 2023-2028 Women and Youth Agenda”. Women Co-Chair Angelita Senorin introduced the Agenda and chaired the group reporting and discussions.

CLiCK 4 graduates and graduates from CLiCks 1-3 who were present pledged their enduring commitment to the objectives of NTUC Phl, their federations, local unions, and the CLiCk leadership training. President Jhing, herself a graduate of CLiCk 1, led the CLiCk pledging.

The celebration ended with the CLiCk 4 graduates rendering a touching concluding song.

Youth representatives Reyna Rose Yalong and Jasper Dosano from NATOW guided the celebration proceedings.

There were 70 participants (29 women, 41 men, 7 youth)
37 in person, 33 online.
