BOCAUE, Bulacan —The principal of the night shift high school department of a college school here will spend All Saints’ Day behind bars after police arrested him when an 18 years old female student accused him of allegedly sexually molesting her.

Supt. Ronaldo de Jesus, Bocaue police chief, identified the suspect as Edgardo Tolentino, 41, a resident of Marilao, Bulacan and principal of the night shift high school department of Dr. Yanga Colleges in Barangay Wakas here.

Bocaue policemen arrested Tolentino after the teenage victim (name withheld) went to the Bocaue police station last Friday afternoon and reported that she was allegedly sexually molested by his teacher.

The suspect did not resist arrest and is now under police custody.

De Jesus said that aside from being the principal of the night shift high school, the suspect also holds several positions at Dr. Yanga Colleges.

The suspect, according to De Jesus, is also the concurrent director of the school’s Student Personal Services Office and a faculty member of the college department.

He said the victim told police investigators that the suspect ordered her to report to his office last Friday morning. Once inside the office, the victim said the suspect allegedly began touching her private parts, mashing her breast and touching her sex organ. PNA
