Poll chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. said on Monday that the Commission on Elections en banc has disqualified, with finality, six more party-list groups. The disqualified groups were Agapay ng Indigenous Peoples Rights Alliance, Inc. (A-IPRA); Ang Galing Pinoy (AG); Atong Paglaum, Inc. (Atong Paglaum); Kaagapay ng Nagkakaisang Agilang Pilipinong Magsasaka (KAP); Social Movement for Active Reform and Transparency (SMART); and The True Marcos Loyalist (for God, Country and People) Association of the Philippines, Inc. (BANTAY). The Comelec resolution, however, is yet to be available to the public. The six party list groups were part of the 12 earlier disqualified by the poll body. But, their disqualification cases were remanded back to the Comelec by the Supreme Court. Of the 12, Comelec has yet to decide on the fate of 1st Kabalikat ng Bayan Ginhawang Sangkatauhan (1st KABAGIS).
