MANILA, Philippines—Three construction laborers were killed while one more was hurt when they fell from the fourth floor of the building they were working on in Novaliches, Quezon City, on Wednesday.

Noel Doot, 33; Emmanuel Cruza, 32; and Mark Truces, 25, died in the hospital due to severe head injuries hours after the incident at the Lipton Building in Greenville Subdivision, Barangay (village) Sauyo.

A fourth worker, Bejan Sapungan, 29, remains confined at Pacific Global Medical Center.

Case investigator PO2 Anthony Tejerero said the incident happened at 11:41 a.m. on Wednesday while the victims were on a scaffolding and painting the fourth floor of the newly constructed building.
