TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A 35-year-old carpenter died while a student is fighting for his life in separate incidents of electrocution in Cauayan, Isabela on Thursday.
Maximo Marcos was fixing the roof of a boarding house in Barangay San Fermin when he touched a live wire, according to a report of a rescue unit in Cauayan City.
Marcos was pronounced dead on arrival at the Cauayan City District Hospital, where Doji Barasi Domingo Jr. was also brought for treatment.
Domingo was pruning tree branches in Barangay Rizal when he accidentally touched a live electrical wire. –Raymund Catindig (The Philippine Star)
