1 dead, another hurt as glass panel collapses

MANILA, Philippines – A 22-year-old worker died and another was injured when 47 panels of window glass fell on them in Binondo, Manila Saturday.

Ever Roselloso, of Northville 2A, Canumay, Valenzuela City, died at the scene. His co-worker, identified only as Gerald, was taken to a nearby hospital, Police Officer 3 Michael Marragun of the Manila Police District homicide unit said.

Marragun said the victims were delivering the glass panels at the World Trade Exchange Building along Juan Luna street at around 3 p.m. when the incident happened. –Rey Galupo (The Philippine Star)
