Sugatan ang limang construction workers nang aksidenteng bumagsak ang isang scaffolding habang kinukumpuni ang isang eskwelahan sa loob ng Kalibo Integrated Special Education Center (KISEC) compound sa Kalibo, Aklan.

Isinugod sa Aklan Provincial Hospital ang mga biktimang sina Anthony Nervar, 41, ng Purok 6 C. Laserna St. Kalibo; Ronel Manganpo, 26, ng Brgy. Baris Legazpi City; Christian Libre, 25l; Michael Montalbo, 30; at Virgilio Teodosio, 29, pawang ng Sagay, Negros Occidental.

Base sa report ng pulisya, nakatuntong sa platform na gawa sa coco lumber ang siyam trabahador habang nag-aakyat ng isang cement mixer papuntang third floor ng ginagawang gusali sa loob ng nasabing paaralan sa F. Quimpo St., nang bumigay at bumagsak ang scaffolding.

Agad na nakatalon ang apat na kasamahan habang ang lima ay bumagsak at ngayon ay nagpapagaling pa.

Inaalam na ng pulisya kung sino ang dapat na managot sa nasabing insidente.
