Babala sa OFWs: ‘Wag kumagat sa FB job offers

Muling pinayuhan kahapon ng pamunuan ng Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) ang lahat ng naghahanap ng trabaho na huwag maniwala sa mga naglipanang job offers sa Facebook at Twitter.

Ito ang pahayag kahapon ni POEA Adminstrator Han’s Leo Cacdac dahil sa isang katerbang reklamong kanilang natatanggap hinggil sa “raket” ng ilang individual at hindi lisensiyadong recruitment agency na ang layunin ay manloko at makakuha ng pondo mula sa mga job seeker.

Payo ni Cacdac, dapat munang makipag-ugnayan sa kanila ang sinumang naghahanap ng trabaho sa ibang bansa upang matiyak na hindi maloloko ng mga kawatan.

Dagdag pa nito, kadalasan sa mga pekeng job offer ay idinadaan na ngayon sa social media o internet kung saan ay ipinadedeposito sa bangko ang bayad na kanilang kinokolekta sa isang aplikante.

Dapat ay sa website lamang ng POEA mag-search upang mabatid ang mga available job orders sa ibang bansa.

Maaari rin aniyang gumamit ng POEA application para sa smartphones at tablets upang matiyak na hindi peke ang aapla­yang trabaho at nang hindi maloko.
